Fingerprint

We recommend to clients that System assurance including independent safety assessments are undertaken from project commencement to avoid costly re-design and abortive work arising from the late identification of unprotected safety issues.

Fingerprint:

Ensuring Safety

and Performance for Hypnose Automotive’s Vehicles…

Fingerprint serves as the System Assurance Management for Hypnose Automotive, overseeing the safety of both occupants and vehicles. This system assurance management ensures the proper design, manufacturing, and operation of Hypnose vehicles. It manages the safety studies and functional integrity engineering of software systems such as Capon, NooN, Tachyon, Fennnec, and more. Fingerprint guarantees the reliable, secure, and efficient functioning of all subsystems within Hypnose vehicles.

Reliability, Availability and Maintainability, but also the management and application of safety and security studies.

No worries, we implement and assess system assurance (RAMS) in our project. We have the know-how and the experience of this engineering and its management throughout the life cycle of the project and the product. We have made System Assurance our habit. It’s not something that we just strive for – we live by this principle every day. While most of the things about creative engineering will be forgotten, the excellence of our products and services will be remembered.

System Assurance Engineering & Management

What is it good for?

  • RAM: Deals with the Performance of the system under consideration.

  • Safety: Deals with the Safety Risk of the system under consideration.

  • EMI/EMC: EMI have the potential to impact both RAM and Safety performance of the systems adversely

  • V&V: verification and validation tasks in the context of RAMS.

  • Configuration Management: Each RAMS document and deliverable shall be placed under configuration control from the time of its first release. Any changes to documents under configuration control shall be recorded.

  • For some projects, Fire and Life Safety, Human Factor and Ergonomics, Earthing & Bonding Studies are also considered as a part of System Assurance.

ISA

The Independent Safety Assessor

The Independent Safety Assessor’s role is to verify whether the relevant technical and operational risks have been reduced to an acceptable level. The Independent Safety Assessor provides an opinion on the adequacy of the safety management activities. The ISA works is to provide an independent safety assessment, via safety audits, and the provision of Independent Safety Assessment Reports. Completeness and robustness of the system safety arguments and safety case are their focus. This person though is independent of their company’s system safety and software safety groups. In addition, they report to a position high within the company. The Independent Safety Assessor also interfaces directly with the customer’s safety people and is intended to provide an impartial overview. Independent Safety Assessment helps suppliers, operators and system integrators prevent failures before they occur as well as ensuring their systems are compliant with the safety requirements and global railway standards.
